Description
Have you ever wondered how to paint rocks in a realistic fashion in watercolor?  In this workshop, we will cover important considerations, such as the selection of an image, composition, use of light and the white of the page, and textures such as marbling, mixing dark tones, and showing detail and hard edges. Ms. Littleton will demonstrate how to achieve the appearance of the highlight side of the rock and the shadow side.  Students can bring in an image or work from one provided.  Students will begin a watercolor study of a rock.  Join Ms. Littleton for this informative and fun workshop.

This course will be run in person at the Littleton School of Art. Payment options:

• Venmo: This service accepts credit cards as well as bank (cash) transactions through your bank account. User ID: Jennifer-Littleton-15. I believe you need to register to find me. Then you need to friend me and add your bank account or credit card info. They will verify your account so this will take a few days.
• Send Check: You can send a check to, P. O. Box 331, Lutherville, MD 21094. Please make it out to Jennifer Littleton. Please keep in mind that the Post Office has been much slower since COVID and this could easily take a week or more.
