Jennifer is a graduate of MICA’s prestigious MAT (Master of Arts in Teaching) program and is an award-winning artist and signature member of the Baltimore Watercolor Society and Rhode Island Watercolor society. She enjoys instructing students from absolute beginners to nationally exhibiting watercolor artists.

I have taken both group and private lessons from Jennifer for over six years at both the community College (HCC) and the Littleton School of Art. Jennifer's structured classical approach to realistic watercolor has taken me from being a novice to actually winning an award. I found her classes to be comfortable and easy going as she taught students with little or no experience in watercolor painting as well as the more advanced students. Jennifer taught me how to professionally paint, mat, and frame my work. I've been taking lessons since 2015 and have found that I have grown as an artist. I was a beginner when I started but have gained drawing and watercolor skills that allow me to take a reference photo or still life from beginning to finish piece and be proud of my work. Jennifer has taught me to look at values of light and dark to create a 3D look and how to mix watercolors from just 6 colors to produce almost any color I need. I truly enjoy the supportive atmosphere where I feel comfortable to relax and have fun painting or drawing. I look forward to my continued growth as an artist

She makes learning fun and interesting teaching you to render your drawing or painting in a realistic manner. You will also learn to color mix with just 6 colors. Jennifer provides a supportive atmosphere for her students and we all encourage and lift each other up.
