Have you wondered how to make decisions as to what brands and colors you should purchase? In this workshop you will learn the different properties of colors & brands that will assist you in making these decisions. Some of the properties covered will include brilliance, tinting ability, lightfastness, transparent vs. opaque & toxicity. Ms. Littleton will demonstrate the difference between how a transparent color mixes vs. an opaque color. Students will see that some opaque colors can inhibit the ability to mix proper colors & apply techniques, such as, softening & corrections. Students will work on an exercise with opaque and transparent colors to gain insight into these effects. Ms. Littleton will provide sample amounts of Daniel Smith & Winsor Newton Professional grade watercolor paints for students to experiment with. Join Ms. Littleton for this fun informative workshop.

This course will be run in-person at the Littleton School of Art. Payment options:

Then you need to friend me and add your bank account or credit card info. They will verify your account so this will take a few days.
• Send Check: You can send a check to, P. O. Box 331, Lutherville, MD 21094. Please make it out to Jennifer Littleton. Please keep in mind that the Post Office has been much slower since COVID and this could easily take a week or more.
